The Oblò PA is easy to use, it installs in a diameter of 80 mm for a space saving with a weight of 300 grs. This instrument combines the main flight instruments in addition to the autopilot and remains very practical in flight. No discomfort in terms of luminosity and visibility of the dial in the sun. The device is regularly upgraded by updates, through its USB connection.

Already activated for the autopilot.

Turn your Oblò into a 2-axis autopilot system by connecting the control unit and the digital roll/pitch servos.
You can set the autopilot to maintain a magnetic heading, GPS tracking, altitude, GOTO or GPS flight plan in NAV mode.
(GPS, GOTO or NAV tracking requires connection to a GPS with NMEA output)

The autopilot system is composed of the following elements:
- Flybox Oblò P.A.
- Autopilot Control Unit (A.C.U.)
- Two digital servos for 2-axis control.

Control Unit (A.C.U.):

The autopilot control unit serves as an interface between the instrument and the servos, with quick and easy controls.
Simply press the appropriate button and turn the dial to select altitude or heading/tracking.
A bright green LED clearly indicates when the unit is operating.
When the autopilot is activated, the corresponding buttons for the operating mode will light up.

The three modes of operation are:

HDG / TRK: Heading and Tracking, Horizontal navigation.

NAV : follows a GOTO or a Flight Plan from an external GPS.

ALT : keep an altitude, climb or descend to a preselected altitude

It also includes an automatic course reversal feature, useful for example if you inadvertently enter IMC conditions and need to immediately reverse direction.

For quick operation, there are two separate buttons for selecting the heading/travel (HDG/TRK) and altitude.
The control unit is available in a vertical or horizontal version.

Digital servo:

This digital servo has been designed for maximum reliability and safety. It is made of solid aluminum with hardened steel gears.

When not engaged, it has no residual torque and when engaged, it is reversible.

Maximum safety is guaranteed: the pilot can take control of the servo at any time to regain control of the aircraft.
The microprocessor monitors the motor current, temperature and other parameters. It disconnects the servo if the normal operating conditions are not met.
